FAQs
What if you do not accept my insurance?
Some commercial insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits. If you wish to utilize out-of-network benefits, please let us know prior to your appointment to ensure a superbill is provided to you once you pay for the session. Do note that payment must be made upfront, and insurance will review to determine if the claim is eligible for reimbursement to you. Do note that only our fully licensed clinicians can provide a superbill for service.
How do telehealth sessions work?
Before your session, you will receive a secure link to connect to the session. It is important that you are located in a private space and in Kentucky to be able to complete the session. If you have issues connecting to your session, reach out to your provider to obtain an alternative link.
Will insurance cover all of my sessions?
The best way to check this is to call your insurance provider. While the self-pay rate is the max anyone will pay for session for that given session time, it does differ from insurance rates. Insurance rates will depend on your insurance plan and if you have a deductible, copay, or co-insurance.
Do I need to be present with my child?
It is advised that guardians or a guardian of our minor clients (under 18 year of age) be present for initial session.
