Danielle Jennings is a licensed clinical social worker based in Lexington, KY, providing in-person and online or virtual therapy across Kentucky. As a KY licensed therapist, she specializes in helping individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), body image concerns, anxiety, depression, improve relationship with food and self-esteem. Danielle works with pre-teens, teens, and adults, offering therapy approaches that may include CBT, ACT, and/or exposure-based therapy (including ERP).
In therapy, we work together to understand where those patterns come from and learn tools to move forward in a more empowered and self-compassionate way. Whether you're navigating life stress, social anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or chronic self-criticism, I’m here to help you build a stronger relationship with yourself.
Clinical Background:While I currently focus working with pre-teens, teens and adults with anxiety related disorders (Including OCD), body image concerns and depression, I do have experience working with children as young as 6 with various issues that includes mood disorder, behavioral issues and trauma . I have experience working in multiple therapy settings that includes hospitals, foster care programs, intensive in home care (that includes behavioral health and family preservation and diversion programs), and school settings (both as a social work and mental health therapist/provider).
I provide therapy for anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, body dysmorphic disorder, eating disorders, panic disorders, agoraphobia, life transitions, stress management, perfectionism, and body acceptance.
Insurances I accept: Anthem, Cigna, United Healthcare/UMR, Aetna, Molina/Passport, Aetna Medicaid, Humana Medicaid, and Passport Medicaid. I do accept self pay and offer sliding scales.
Clinical Supervision: $100 hour for individual.
